With this force value, the reference drawing from the design of the Cutting System is used to calculate the force experienced at the point of contact on the branch.  This force at the branch for the Fiskars Blade and Anvil was found to be approximately 620 pounds.  For the Blade and Anvil of the Cutting System, the force at the branch was found to be approximately 360 pounds.

This means that the Blade and Anvil of the Cutting System are more effective than those on the Fiskars manual tree lopper, requiring less force from the Power and Transmission System to cut through a tree branch.
